OWF Mission Statement |

The
goal of our organization is to help promote the professional development of
women faculty at Virginia Tech.
To this end we sponsor receptions and panel presentations that provide
both informal opportunities for meeting other women faculty and more formal
discussions of issues that impact our careers, including strategies for
promotion and tenure. We also
organize task forces to work on long-term goals such as improving the working
environment for and the retention of women faculty at Virginia Tech. |
