Join OWF

We would like to extend an invitation to join the Organization of Women Faculty (OWF).

OWF was established in 1992 with support from the Office of the Provost and a grant from the EO/AA Office to aid in the professional development of women faculty on the Virginia Tech campus. Major activities include workshops aimed at discussing issues such as effective strategies for promotion to Associate Professor, including construction of a strong dossier, strategies for promotion to Full Professor status, choosing administration as an academic career track, and mutual mentoring.

We need your support and participation to continue offering programs like these. In addition, OWF offers excellent opportunities for networking with your colleagues across campus. Many of us have established lasting professional and personal relationships as a result of our participation in OWF.
