Organization of Women Faculty

Mission Statement:

The goal of OWF is to promote the professional development of women faculty at Virginia Tech. To this end we sponsor receptions and panel presentations that provide both informal opportunities for meeting other women faculty and more formal discussions on issues that impact our careers, including strategies for promotion and tenure. We also organize task forces to work on long-term goals such as improving the working environment for and the retention of work faculty at Virginia Tech.
